CHAI BREAK means taking time off in the Urban Dictionary.

The purpose of Chai Break was clear when two school friends from St. James' School, Kolkata decided to join hands to create something unique in the F&B segment in 2010. The challenge was to make an experience out of a commodity like Tea, in an unorganised market. The concept of good food, great tea and good times merged into the concept of Break and hence Chai Break was born.

Co-founders Anirudh Poddar and Aditya Ladsaria, started their baby steps in the F&B industry with a 50 sq. ft. kiosk that specialised in serving different varieties of tea and snacks. Over a decade the baby has grown into a teenager which is much loved by youngsters, families and corporates alike.
