My green cheek Conure
Likes to take a bath once or twice a day. Is this normal? Is there anything I should do? I’ve even put a smaller water bowl in his cage but he still dunks his head in there and bathes!
My green cheek loooooves his baths! He will take a bath 2 or even 3 times a day if you let him. He actually will chirp til you get him his fresh water if I’m running late in the morning. He has learned to sit and throw the water at my kids also since they laugh when he takes his bath. It’s adorable! You have to be careful tho cuz when you walk around with them around the house my Freddy has jumped off me to get in the sink or even the toilet. So I learned very quickly not to take him in bathroom or lean close to the sink when I have him. The conure is an amazing bird! So full of energy and is the ultimate comedian!
