1.Does it get rid of blackheads, white heads, and dirt and oil in your nose?
2.Does it hurt to take off?
3.Can you use duct tape as an alternative?
4. Do you get results ont the first try?
5. oes it exfoliate and make the skin on your nose smoother?
1. Yes, you can see little spikes of gunk stinking off the strip when you are done. It does remove some, but it’s not going to get all of them.
2. No. I guess if it gets caught on little tiny hairs, maybe a little. I’ve never experienced any pain. And if you do? Very, very simple, just rewet your nose and it will slide off, no problem at all.
3. Definitely not. The thing is it’s more like a plaster (like the other girl said). You get your nose wet and it dries slightly into the pores and attaches to the gunk you want to yank out. Duct tape is not going to do anything for you but hurt your skin.
4. Yes, the proof is on the strip with the little gunkos spiked up on it. I would give it a try, but keep in mind nothing is perfect, ya know?
5. Probably takes off a layer of dead skin, so I would say yes.
Okay, hoped that helped:)
Two recommendations:
1- A good exfoliater for your face is Biore Pore Minimizing Exfoliater. I use it myself. It’s a little pricey (like all their other items), but you’re not supposed to use much. If you want something to use on your body too, buy a cheaper larger bottle of something (maybe St. Ivees?), but the skin on your face needs an exfoilater meant for more delicate skin.
2- I would buy the drugstore brand of pore strips. I’ve bought both, and the little packets inside are typically the same thing (like same illustrations, instructions, everything). I’m pretty sure the same company makes both, Biore just charges you for the brand name. If you would like to test my theory, look at the ingredients in the store, see if there is any difference whatsoever.
3- If you have a problem with acne and drink milk, I really think that if you drink skim milk you should switch to another %, and make it organic. It’s not completely foolproof or magical, but the hormones fed to cows could theoretically mess with your hormones. There was one study that did find a link with this, so I’m not making all this up.
